Position Summary: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to manage daily administrative tasks and serve as the first point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will handle all front desk operations with efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and check them in for appointments.
- Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records and updated information in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Process client payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances.
- Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Coordinate communication between clients and clinicians as needed.
- Handle sensitive client information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and mail distribution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A warm and approachable demeanor with a commitment to outstanding client service.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
