This role will be based in our West Palm Beach office, on a in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to the Accounting Manager
Position Summary
Candidate must have prior Accounting experience in a professional services organization. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for assisting the West Palm Beach Trust Department with various Trust and General accounting duties. This individual will be a member of the Firmwide Trust Team to process trust transactions for other offices. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Reviews, verifies and records daily trust accounting transactions (i. e. Real Estate closing documents, settlement/escrow agreements, etc.)
- Prepares daily bank account reconciliations
- Accounts payable; recording trust cash disbursements
- Accounts receivable; recording trust deposits.
- General accounting duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
- Maintain accuracy while working on multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment
- Strong organizational skills and deadline driven
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Minimum three years of accounting experience; professional services experience a plus
- Law firm experience a plus. Knowledgeable with the processing of trust transactions specifically Real Estate transactions under Florida Bar Rules.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe
