Job Requirements
Greenberg Traurig’s Denver office is seeking an Environmental Associate with 2-4 years of environmental, natural resources law and litigation experience. Qualified applicants must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong research, writing and analytical skills. Applicants must also have education and practical experience in the areas of natural resources development, air and water quality, solid and hazardous waste law, water law and/or federal and state administrative agency law and regulation. Must be self-motivated, able to meet time-sensitive responsibilities, hard-working, responsive and a good communicator, flexible, and willing to travel. Prior experience as a judicial clerk, or at a national law firm, an outstanding local firm, or a federal or state environmental agency, department of justice, or attorney general office is preferred. Applicants must possess strong work ethic and be team minded. Applicants must also be admitted to the Colorado Bar. Other western state bar admissions also a plus.

The Expected Pay Range For This Position Is
$185,000-$205,000
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
