Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Working under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will coordinate with various departments, manage resources, and communicate with clients to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to execute of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the fabrication or construction industry.
- In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in financial forecasting.
- Extensive knowledge of job costing.
