What You’ll Do
As the Quality Control Manager, you’ll take ownership of all QA/QC operations on site. You’ll manage inspection teams, lead client collaboration, ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards, and deliver clean, precise results in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and lead the on-site Quality Control team for all disciplines (welding, piping, high-purity systems, structural, and NDT)
- Ensure work meets or exceeds ASME, AWS, SEMI standards, and project-specific requirements
- Drive development and execution of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation
- Oversee clean construction inspections for high-purity systems and utilities
- Coordinate closely with client QA/QC representatives, engineers, and subcontractors
- Track and close Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities and inspection logs
- Maintain full documentation of weld logs, material certs, redlines, punch lists, and turnover packages
- Support audits, walkthroughs, and project handovers
- Promote a culture of zero-defect installations, continuous improvement, and safety-first operations
- 5 years of QA/QC experience in industrial or high-tech construction
- Experience on semiconductor fab or pharma/high-purity projects highly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction standards: ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, SEMI standards
- Proven leadership and communication skills—you know how to lead field teams and drive results
- Proficiency in QA/QC tools, documentation management, and digital workflows
- Certifications such as CWI, SNT-TC-1A, or similar are a plus
- Organized, collaborative, and committed to doing the job right the first time
- Ability to work on large job sites, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE
- Comfortable working in varying site conditions—including hot, noisy, and dusty environments
- May involve time in clean construction zones with additional protocols
