What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charge Nurse day shift full-time position at Greenbriar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
Greenbriar Nursing Center is looking for FULL TIME skilled RN's & LPN's for Day shift Charge Nurse to become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. The Nurse will interact directly with residents and their families, providing comfort, medications, treatments,monitoring their vital signs and assessing needs and communicating with Medical Director. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents and the other facility staff. We are looking for individuals who will cover our various 8 hour shifts
- Basic computer skills
- Licensed LPN or RN
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
- Long term/ skilled care experience preferred.
