Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Western Riding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a true passion for the equine world and a dedication to teaching riders of all skill levels. This role involves educating students about horse care, riding techniques, and competition strategies while fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Duties
- Provide individualized coaching to riders, focusing on skill development specific to our program metrics.
- Develop student's riding skills, horse handling skills, equipment knowledge, and horse care knowledge.
- Monitor the progress of students and provide constructive feedback to enhance their riding abilities.
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring proper use of equipment.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a positive atmosphere for both riders and horses.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of equestrian practices and techniques.
- Previous experience instructing western lessons is necessary.
- Ability to educate students effectively while demonstrating patience and understanding, for students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and motivate students.
- Team player - willing to jump in for extra lessons and duties in the barn.

We offer flexible scheduling and guarantee a minimum of 4 hours of work per scheduled day, which may include lessons and/or general barn duties. We’re currently open to hiring multiple part-time instructors or one full-time, dedicated team member, depending on applicants’ availability and fit.
