- High school diploma or equivalent; and
- Completed at least 60 hours of college credit; or
- Passed the Praxis Parapro Assessment
- Previous work experience with eSchool and Cognos preferred

Job Description
- Consistently uses effective and productive soft skills with all school district stakeholders
- Displays proficiency in computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google apps.
- Assume responsibility for being proactive and prepared to perform clerical duties as prescribed.
- Participate in training, staffing, and meetings as directed by the building principal and administration.
- Adhere to confidentiality policies and practices for students under IDEA as outlined by the teacher.
- Follow any Greenbrier School Board Policy and/or district and school procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration, building principal, and/or other supervisors.
- Schedule training/professional development as needed.
- Ensure a welcoming and nurturing environment of the school office and entry through the physical space, phone communication, and other interactions.
- Collaborates with administrative assistants in the district and with central office staff.
- Contributes to planning and facilitation of school-wide events.
- Ensures all actions and communications are positive and productive.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Implement all local, state, and federal regulations and procedures detailed in Tier II and other training sessions.

- Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities daily.

- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
- Reports incidents (e.g. fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, harassment, bullying, zero tolerance offenses etc.) to maintain the personal safety of students.
- Responds to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns and /or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Implement school and district safety and crisis procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods regularly
- Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- May experience constant interruptions, inflexible deadlines, and changes to regular routines.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet special project deadlines
