What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Assistant Manager position at Greenbrier Valley Aquatic Center?
GVAC seeks to hire a Facilities Assistant Manager to perform routine maintenance tasks, assist with repairs, and ensure our facilities are safe and well-maintained. Ideal candidates are reliable, honest, trustworthy, can work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong work ethic.
This position will require the employee to obtain their Certified Pool Officer Licensure, Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and BLS Certifications within the first 90 days. GVAC will pay for these courses and assist employee in scheduling these courses.
· Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on pools, equipment, and buildings in general
· Minor custodial duties and grounds maintenance, including snow removal
· Report Hazardous conditions and ensure safety precautions are followed
· Record and maintain supplies, chemicals, and materials
· Recognize and troubleshoot issues before and after they arise
· Front Desk station from 4 pm – 8 pm on weekdays, acting as Closing Manager
· Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
