We are looking for a center manager that loves a challenge and an opportunity to grow with a company on a new venture. Must have healthcare experience in geriatric setting.
Our committed managed care primary care office is seeking an experienced Center Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the office's day-to-day operations while managing all aspects of the medical assistant role. The role will involve working with a team of medical assistants and physicians, ensuring up-to-date patient records, coordinating with healthcare providers, and running the office efficiently.
Location: This role will manage our Seffner clinic, which will expand and relocate to Brandon in the next 6 months.
This position may require some local travel to assist in covering other centers and training Medical Assistants.
Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the medical office, including customer service, training and education, facilities management, timesheet management, and site performance reports.
- Collect, interpret, and report data to facilitate effective office management.
- Oversee staff and daily operations of the clinic.
- Delegate and assign tasks as necessary.
- Assist in the management of office budget, monitor and control office expenditures.
- Implement procedures to improve office performance (i.e., minimize patient cancellations, staff turnover, decrease utilization, etc.).
- Adhere to office management training, adherence to company policies and procedures, and compliance with company technology and communications protocols.
- Manage all office aspects of the new patient process with cross-functional teams, including office touring, patient portal registration, management of new patient paperwork, and coordination of medical referrals from the medical office.
- Maintain and keep track of office supplies, manage inventory, and carry out all purchase orders and supply request processing.
- Coordinate and manage office staff scheduling.
- Manage and resolve patient/caretaker complaints and concerns.
- Escalate office issues and concerns as timely and appropriately as necessary.
- Ensures office readiness for regulatory visits.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare office management reports (Reports include, but are not limited to, patient lists, provider panels, profit and loss, budget, utilization, quality measures, STARS/HEDIS, etc.)
- Lead regular coaching sessions and annual performance reviews with a team of 2-4 Medical Assistants.
- Experience:
- Prior experience as an Office Manager
- Medical Assistant experience preferred (not required)
- 1 years of people leadership and/or people management experience preferred
- Certification:
- Medical Assistant Certification is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration preferred
- Skills:
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage a diverse team of staff members
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and other regulations related to healthcare administration
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with EHRs, including ECW and Epic
- Familiarity with google docs and other tools
