About the Role
This is a part-time, contractor role. We estimate the hours to be 15-20 hours per month.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll & HR Operations Consultant to manage key payroll and HR functions. Our ideal Consultant has deep expertise in Rippling HRIS to oversee payroll management, timekeeping, reimbursements, state tax compliance, and policy development. This role requires responsiveness and availability during normal business hours, with communication primarily through Slack and a dedicated Greenbrook Medical email.

Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Management : Process semimonthly and biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, and managing any payroll-related issues within Rippling.
- Timekeeping & Compliance : Oversee all time tracking, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Expense Reports & Reimbursements : Handle mileage, other approved reimbursement requests, and expense reports.
- State Tax Compliance : Ensure compliance with state tax requirements, including filings and deductions.
- HRIS System Configuration : Maintain and optimize Rippling HRIS to align with company needs, including developing or editing policies, workflows, templates, etc.
- Time Off Management : Track and administer time off policies.
- Employee Records Updates : Update employee records as needed, including terminations.
- Communication & Availability : Remain responsive on Slack during business hours (i.e. responses within 2-3 hours) and be available as needed.
