We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistician to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to manage materials, inventory, and deliveries efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes and be committed to continuous improvement in cost, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to· Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of materials.
· Coordinate with the sales team to understand order requirements and delivery timelines.
· Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
· Tool automation for inventory and delivery management.
· Standardization of the purchasing process.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
· Negotiate favorable terms and agreements to optimize costs and delivery schedules.
· Implement quality control processes to ensure that received products meet specified standards.
· Work with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
· Oversee material inventory control.
· Be able to work weekends and holidays if needed.
What we are looking for· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
· Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement roles.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software/tools.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
