What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Greencroft Communities?
Job Description:
Provide routine laundry services in the facility. Laundry Aides are responsible for the daily collection, cleaning, and distribution of laundry and linen items.
Duties include:
- Collect soiled linens from multiple locations (resident rooms, dining rooms, etc)
- Launder & fold linens and return to appropriate locations
- Restock locations with laundered linens
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Good written & verbal communication
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally
Schedule:
- Full-time: 6am - 2:30pm (4 days) & 5 - 1:30pm (1 day)
