What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Enrichment Assistant/Aide position at Greencroft Communities?
Job Description:
Must have special interest in working with older adults and the aging population. Promote ongoing activities for residents that meet emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
Duties include:
- Assist with an assessment of each resident according to their background, activity interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful activity programs
- Conduct one to one activities and group activities as directed by supervisor.
- Assist at special events as directed by supervisor.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to learn CPR when classes are available.
- Must be willing to attend dementia training classes as requested and as applicable to job position.
- Aptitude and training in arts and crafts; knowledge of tools, paints and stains.
- Ability to communicate via written and verbal word.
- Desire and capability of working with small and large groups and with residents one-on-one.
Schedule:

Thurs, Fri, and Sat - some Sundays, holidays or occasional evenings required for special events or as needed

Requires Flexibility to occasionally coordinate/trade schedules with other Team Members that work Mon, Tues, and Wed
