**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly professional and results-driven Key Account Manager with a strong background in enterprise sales and energy procurement.
This critical role requires exceptional emotional intelligence, diligence, and the ability to see tasks through to completion.
The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, not only by securing new sales from house-generated leads and partnerships, but also by owning the renewal process for a portion of Greencrown's book of business.
In addition, this role will be responsible for strategically expanding Greencrown's presence within our existing client base, key partners, and association groups by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
This is a highly visible, client-facing position where building deep, consultative relationships and delivering continuous value are essential to success.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage the full sales cycle for house-generated leads and partnerships, from initial outreach to contract execution, with a focus on delivering tailored, consultative solutions aligned with client goals.
- Own the renewal process for a defined segment of Greencrown's platinum account client portfolio, driving retention through proactive communication and ownership of the Greencrown value proposition.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients, partners, and associations, expanding revenue through strategic account growth.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, industry partners, and association leaders, positioning Greencrown as a trusted advisor and long-term partner.
- Educate clients on market trends, regulatory updates, and Greencrown's full value proposition through utilization of Greencrown's energy market and utility technology platforms.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet client needs and support Greencrown's non-procurement offering product expansion.
- Analyze account performance and client data to assess and manage risk, and develop active energy management plans.
- Represent Greencrown at industry events and association meetings, building brand visibility and fostering new and existing partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates to ensure visibility and alignment with revenue goals.
Presentation of Greencrown Energy's value proposition clearly and persuasively to decision-makers.
