Job Description
- Work with the CEO, and staff on various accounting processes and operations
- Performs reconciliations, accounts receivable & accounts payable.
- Prepare and disburse payments to vendors.
- Answers phone for customer inquiries and orders.
- Maintains and installs accounting software and file backup
- Maintains office by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments.
- Open, sort and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University in Accounting with four or more years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and QuickBooks Desktop
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing sales tax.
- Demonstrated experience performing functions efficiently and accurately with minimal direct supervision
- Detail oriented approach to work, confidentiality, good problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with customer service

Pay: $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
