School-Based Cooperative Network Director
Under the direction of Greene County Foundation, the Cooperative Network Director will support staff of all Early Learning Programs in Greene County’s five school districts to meet and maintain compliance requirements for Licensing, PTQ levels 3 and 4, and accreditation standards. The Compliance Manager is responsible for creating and managing operating systems that ensure all Greene County school-based early care and education programs are high quality programs. Responsibilities will also include facilitating network cooperative coalition meetings on a quarterly basis, advising schools on hiring and onboarding early childhood educators, developing relationships and serving as a liaison with state and regional partner agencies, and other duties as required. This position will be full-time and based in Greene County. It will require reliable access to a vehicle to support regular travel within the county.
- Facilitate and complete all licensing requirements for all early care and education programs in all five Greene County school districts
- Facilitate and complete all PTQ, CCDF, OMWPK, and CACFP requirements for all early care and education programs in all five Greene County school districts
- Support all five school districts in teacher hiring and onboarding, with a focus on assisting new teachers in gaining required training & certifications
- Track classroom outcomes for each district including enrollment data, child assessment outcomes, staffing data, and financial information
- Serve as a liaison with state agencies relevant to early care and education work, staying updated on the most recent news and resources and maintaining ongoing relationships with key partners
- A CDA (Child Development Associate) certification or greater degree related to early childhood development and/or education
- Knowledge of state regulations for legally licensed exempt programs meeting Provider Eligibility Standards for CCDF
- Knowledge of state regulations for licensed childcare centers
- Knowledge of paths to Quality and NAEYC early learning program standards and accreditation.
- Ability to plan and facilitate professional development for staff, build relationships with early learning educators and cultivate partnerships with local stakeholders in early learning and community partners
- Knowledge of the Creative Curriculum for six weeks to five years
- Ability to mentor staff at different levels of development with educational attainment support
- Familiarity with and knowledge of the Greene County community, or similar rural communities
- Knowledge of the early care and education landscape in Indiana, especially key current and pending legislature and key state and local agencies working in the early learning field
- Experience in building relationships with state and regional organizations in the early care and education field
- Experience in facilitating coalitions and/or advisory committees
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
