What are the responsibilities and job description for the 911 Emergency Dispatcher position at Greene County Health Department?
Greene County 911 provides E-911 services for Greene County, TN and the town of Greeneville, TN as well as dispatch services for Greeneville PD, Greene County Sheriff's Department, Tusculum Police, Baileyton Police Mosheim Police, Greeneville Fire, Greene County EMS, and all volunteer fire departments. We also provide services for various other entities such as Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad, Emergency Management, Wings, etc.
Dispatchers are responsible for the receipt, screening, routing, dispatching, and documenting of all emergency and non-emergency requests for assistance from the public, as well as public safety officials/representatives of client agencies of Greene County 911.
