What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Informatics Analyst position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
- Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
- Remote/onsite-80/20; travel required to be on campus 20% of the time
- Apply knowledge of nursing and informatics to assist in the design, development, and ongoing administration of computerized health care systems
- May educate staff and assist in problem solving to promote the implementation of the health care system
- Liaison between care teams, information technology staff, administration, vendors, and Unity Point resources to help deliver high-quality patient care technology solutions
- Use informatics science to design or implement health information technology solutions to resolve clinical or health care administration problems
- Develop or deliver training programs for health information technology, creating operating manual as needed
- Provide consultation to care teams regarding hardware/software configuration
- Assist Quality team in their quality of care and performance improvement initiatives
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Hospital or medical clinic office experience preferred
- Required: Associate’s Degree or six months or more related experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Nursing, or related areas
- Preferred: two or more years of experience supporting electronic health record applications
- Licensed RN in State of Iowa
