What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- PRN Position, 32 hours per quarter minimum
- Varied shifts: 5:30 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. shift start times
- Includes every other weekend
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience preparing main entrees, vegetables, salads and baked goods
- Ability to meet meal schedules and properly utilize leftover foods
- Collect patient menu selections and deliver meals to patients
- Work in the dish room; help with tray line
- Desire to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledge of modified diets helpful
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong organization skills, attention to details, and food safety experience
- Food safety training preferred
