What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Environmental Services position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
- Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
- Monday-Friday, occasional work 2nd shift based on department needs
- Responsible for development, implementation and direction of department programs
- Leadership experience; excellent organization and planning skills
- Responsible for training in proper EVS procedures
- Implement policies and procedures
- Coordinate work of staff in assigned area
- Conduct daily inspections to monitor quality
- Knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements
- Support Facility Services, as needed
- High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory role
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers to include Microsoft Office products, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting and positive working relationships with staff, supervisors/directors, guests and vendors
- Required: four years of experience in Environmental Services, two of which must have been supervisory, which includes knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies
- Preferred: four years of EVS supervisory experience
