Driver Operations Manager - Transportation
We are seeking an experienced Driver Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Transportation department at Greene County Schools.
About the Role:
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and supporting staff to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a team of drivers to achieve operational excellence in bus transportation services.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance bus safety and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in bus operations.
- Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement strategic plans to meet the transportation needs of our students and community.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong background in transportation management, preferably in an educational setting.
- Hold a valid commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement.
- Meet state-mandated physical requirements.
