Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a safe environment, offer emotional and social support, and attend to the physical needs and comfort of residents. You will perform direct care as assigned, following the resident's care plan, and directed by your Supervisor. Other duties may be required by community representatives. Adherence to health, sanitary, and infection control policies is essential, along with maintaining established standards of practice set forth by the administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing within the applicable laws of the state where you work, or otherwise meets the requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant under those laws
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 18 years old (or currently in high school if 16)
- Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
- Demonstrated ability to carry out both verbal and written directions
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff
- Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques
Work Arrangements
This position offers Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities with Day and Evening shifts available, including 8 and 12 hour schedules. The wage range is $19.25-$25.25 per hour, with sign-on bonuses paid quarterly over one year: $5,000 for FT Shift and $2,500 for PT Shift.
