Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team.
GMI produces a wide range of industrial and educational furniture utilizing punch presses, brake presses, welding, paint, and various other machinery. Experience with maintenance of machinery and other basic mechanical, plumbing, and general shop upkeep is desired. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
