Position: Manufacturing Assembler

We are looking for a skilled Assembler to assist in making cylinders for our various products lines. Assembly includes cutting materials as well as assembling them. You must have technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions as well as listen and perform what is asked of you with precision is extremely important.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
• Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
• Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts

Skills

• Experience as assembler or a similar skilled role.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs up and down stairs
• Must be able to lift/move aluminum tubing up to 12 feet long and up to 35 lbs
• Technical knowledge including measuring with accuracy and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
• Ability in using tools and machines
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
