Large personal injury firm seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented legal case manager. This candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload by working closely with attorneys, clients, and medical providers to ensure cases progress efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial preparation
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and attorneys to obtain necessary documentation and case updates
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks
- Draft and file legal documents, including demand letters, medical summaries, and settlement proposals
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Monitor medical treatment progress and gather medical records and bills
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters as needed
- Provide excellent client service by keeping clients informed of case developments
- Ensure compliance with all legal procedures and firm protocols
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn case management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in personal injury law is preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Pay: $37,500-46,000/yr with bonus opportunities
