Position: Construction Safety Manager
Location: St. Paul, MI (Hybrid)
Pay: $125,000 to $175,000/year (Depending on experience)
Experience:
- 7 years of experience with building construction safety.
- 5 years of construction safety process management experience.
- 3 years of field experience in safety.
Education: Four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management or Engineering or related degree

Greene Resources is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Lead and enhance project safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies, and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage time and resources effectively to provide safety leadership across assigned projects.
- Enforce safety protocols, implement corrective actions, and halt unsafe practices while training employees on proper procedures.
- Conduct pre-construction safety meetings with jobsite staff and subcontractors to review hazard analysis and mitigation plans.
- Perform job site inspections, weekly audits, and bi-weekly safety meetings to identify hazards and reinforce safe behavior.
- Investigate incidents, track trends, and recommend training improvements.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and administrative files.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align safety efforts.
- Participate in OSHA inspections, provide technical guidance, and support accident investigations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- OSHA 500 or 502 certification.
- Current First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED training (within 2 years).
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental principles.
- ASP or CSP certification within 2 years of hire.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- 4 hours of documented education and hands-on experience in areas such as fall protection, scaffolding, excavation, confined space, crane operations, electrical safety, and incident investigations.
