Position : Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location : Henderson, NC

Pay : $60k / yr

Education : Technical School Training, Associate's Degree in Engineering or Industrial / Business Management, or equivalent experience.

Experience :

  • Five (5) years of experience as a maintenance technician with experience in the planning and control of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Process and food industry experience is a plus.

Type : Full-time; Direct Hire

Greene Resources is seeking a Facility Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description :

  • Oversee / maintain policies and programs in conjunction with the Plant Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Ensure that machines / production equipment is installed and functioning to specifications.
  • Perform hands-on repairs / maintenance to ensure the safe and proper operation of production equipment.
  • Coordinate outside vendor services in support of maintenance, upkeep, repair, and upgrades of machinery, buildings, and operations.
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules and metrics to drive improvement.
  • Write operating instructions or programs for training purposes and assist with training employees.
  • Implement operating procedures and safety.
  • Assist with facilitating cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes in procedures and / or equipment repairs / replacement.
  • Maintain maintenance spare parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Position Requirements :

  • Knowledge of MS Office Software programs, EPR, and inventory systems a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift and / or carry a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and a warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of all Federal, State, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Mig, Stick Welding preferred.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
