Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience with ERP systems, MRP planning, and inventory control. They will also possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies
• Manage procurement of miscellaneous materials, including placing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers
• Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate SAP data, including supplier lead times, safety stock levels, and BOMs
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to resolve flagged SAP issues and improve inventory management processes
• Monitor and report on inventory levels, identifying areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, HACCP, and company safety standards
• Provide support to the production team, ensuring that materials are available when needed
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Formulas, and Macros
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
