Greene Resources is seeking a Senior Buyer to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Process purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, and track deliveries to ensure supplier quality.
- Analyze inventory levels and forecasts to meet sales and manufacturing demands.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate favorable pricing.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure on-time deliveries and competitive market prices.
- Handle sensitive and classified materials with confidentiality.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with suppliers to assess performance and strengthen partnerships.
- Maintain procurement records, reports, and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Approve invoices and ensure timely and accurate processing for payment.
- Oversee HTS and USMCA compliance and manage import/export logistics.
- Prepare reports and correspondence for management and stakeholders.
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and as a team leader.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and open to developing new skills.
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
- Able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
