We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our commercial landscape company. The ideal candidate will have experience in seasonal flower design, installation, and maintenance, as well as the ability to lead and coordinate multiple crews. This role involves planning, procurement, equipment management, and customer communication to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage crews in seasonal flower design, installation, and maintenance.
- Schedule and coordinate multiple crews using LMN software, ensuring efficient use of budgeted man hours and timely approval of timesheets.
- Plan and procure all plant materials, soil amendments, and decor.
- Coordinate and order/rent heavy equipment as needed.
- Train, motivate, and communicate goals to team members.
- Provide assistance to other crews, field managers, and crew leaders as needed.
- Communicate with customers, operation director, owners, and field managers to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and insurable under our company policy.
- Proven experience in landscape gardening, including flower design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using LMN software or similar scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to plan and procure materials and manage equipment.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks, including winter activities.
