We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the appearance and health of our landscapes by mowing grass and performing related tasks. The ideal candidate must be of legal age to operate heavy machinery and possess a keen attention to detail.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate lawn mowers and other heavy machinery to mow grass and maintain landscapes.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Remove debris and ensure the cleanliness of the grounds.
- Monitor the health of plants and grass, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other landscaping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be of legal age to operate heavy machinery (typically 16 years or older).
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn mowers and other heavy machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
