Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fleet & Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fleet and facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. This role is responsible for maintaining company assets, including office buildings, shops, equipment, and vehicles, while managing costs and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee fleet and facilities operations, including maintenance, procurement, and compliance.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment meet all state and federal regulations.
- Conduct quality control and safety inspections for fleet, facilities, and job sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Manage budgets, analyze costs, and ensure profitability of assets.
- Support safety programs, training, and policy adherence.
- Supervise and guide employees, ensuring professional development.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, employees, and stakeholders.
- Perform any mechanical work needed on trucks or vehicles as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet and facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, tools, and equipment.
- Leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn software.
- 2 years of mechanic experience required
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- DOT medical certification and hoisting license preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, and plow trucks.
