Lawn Care Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team! We are a medium sized company in Elmwood Park with a positive culture that is built around the goal of giving our clients the best looking lawns on the block and an overall positive experience! We have a growth plan to build from our current 1,700 clients to 2,400 clients by the end of the year. We will achieve this with our inside telemarketing sales team, and YOU on our service technician team applying extremely high quality products to make our clients lawns look like baseball outfields!

With our paid training, you will be obtain have a deep understanding of various types of grass, fertilizers, and weed control methods. Your duties will include fertilizing, spraying weeds, using a spreader to spread lawn products, as well as driving a company truck.

This is a full-time role, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm, with Friday off. The hourly rate for this role is $18 per hour, with an estimated work-time of 40 hours per week. We also have an ongoing program where your hourly rate will increase by $0.10 per hour each week as long as you are on time each day and receive no client complaints. That means by the end of the season you will be making over $21 per hour!

Requirements:

• Drivers license
• Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
• Ability to walk long distances (Spraying a lawn is back and forth, back and forth, lots of walking! Great if you are looking to stay in good health!)
