Position Overview
In the role of Manager you will gain hands-on experience that will allow you to hone your leadership skills, business acumen, and overall ability to lead a restaurant operation. The Manager is an enthusiastic leader, quick thinker, problem solver, skilled communicator and motivator. Our food is made from scratch each day so this position will oversee a full-service back of house operation as well as a quick-service front of house operation. Responsibilities
Team Management
- Provide a safe and welcoming work environment
- Assist restaurant HR objectives including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and labor laws in addition to resolving employee relation issues
- Inspires team to provide the highest level of customer service and drives professional development initiatives for team members
- Foster a positive team experience and engage in leadership development
Operations Management
- Maintains Greenery standards by continually monitoring production, food and beverage quality, employee productivity, guest satisfaction, and store cleanliness taking proactive improvement measures when necessary
- Ensure store and team members are in compliance with local health and safety codes as well as food safety policies and procedures
- Oversees and participates (as needed) in opening, closing, and shift transition functions
- Oversee and manage inventory
- Ability to execute all operational administrative duties, including but not limited to, receiving orders, team scheduling, generating daily store performance reports, and HR paperwork
Financial Management
- Forecast short and long-term inventory and labor needs; schedule and adjust as needed to meet and exceed goals
- Run daily reporting
Requirements/Desired Traits
- 2 years in a restaurant management role
- Experience in a fast casual restaurant chain preferred
- Experience/knowledge of basic P&L, decision making, process improvement, strategic planning, labor scheduling, training and team development
- Experience in food safety and planning
- Managers Food Safety Certification required (ServSafe Manager’s Certificate)
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities
- Strong communication skills with a diverse staff
- Able to build rapport with vendors, customers, employees and stakeholders of all levels within and outside the organization
- Able to operate with a sense of urgency and effectively direct change of priorities to the team
- Possess a high-level of critical thinking skills to handle customer complaints and employee relations issues appropriately and according to company policy
- Passion for the development of others; strong coaching skills

- Availability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of some weekends and some holidays as needed
