What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Substitute: High School Intervention Specialist position at Greeneview Local School District?
Greeneview Local Schools is searching for a Long-term Substitute for High School Intervention/Special Education for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. Our High School teaching model utilizes both co-teaching in the inclusion classroom and small-group instruction.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
the ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate learners with multiple ability levels in an inclusion classroom
the ability to modify instruction, assignments, and assessments
the ability to effectively plan and teach lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners in a resource room
the understanding and skills necessary to meet the needs of students with specific learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, multiple handicaps, behavior issues, and other health impairments
the willingness to meet and manage the physical needs of students
the ability to effectively communicate with students
