Job Description:
Assist students ages 3-5 with curriculum and instruction
Provide support under the direction of the classroom teacher
Assist with supervision of children at arrival and dismissal
Assist students with toileting
Be able to multitask in a classroom environment
Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of materials/equipment/toys
Be able to play with students and role model
Job Requirements:
Works collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organizes time effectively
- Demonstrates flexibility
Experience with students ages 3-5
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time; lift and carry 25 lbs.; work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations; see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies and other printed matter; hear and understand speech at normal levels; communicate so others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation, operate office equipment, and reach in all directions.
