SALARY RANGE: $75,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Greenfield Community College is seeking a dynamic, equity-driven leader to serve as the Director of the Office of Institutional Mission, Culture, and Climate (IMCC). This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape campus culture, lead student-centered belonging initiatives in alignment with the vision and strategic priorities of the Vice President of IMCC. The Director will support equity and climate assessment, IMCC program evaluation, and data tracking.
The Director will be a champion for inclusion, equity, and belonging, bringing deep experience in leading culturally responsive programming, facilitating dialogue across differences, and building co-educational learning opportunities that center student voice and leadership. This role is ideal for a collaborative, mission-aligned professional with a strong background in supervision, equity training, intercultural engagement, and student-centered program design.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Direct, design and deliver impactful training and educational resources that foster Inclusive Excellence, belonging, and social awareness.
- Lead student mentoring and leadership initiatives, including oversight of the BEElonging Student Ambassadors (BSA) program, empowering students to live out and inspire the College's values of inclusion, connection, and equity.
- Promote a sense of belonging and intergroup solidarity by cultivating inclusive environments where students from diverse social identities, lived experiences, and backgrounds build coalitions and find community.
- Contribute to institutional change by supporting strategic planning efforts led by the VP of IMCC and advancing campus-wide equity and belonging goals.
- Collaborate with key campus partners, including the I&D Center faculty advisor, the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement, Marketing and Communications, to illuminate the voices, stories and perspectives of students.
- Provide mentoring and additional advising support for diverse student clubs, organizations, and affinity groups.
- Serve as a core member of the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), bringing an equity-focused lens to early intervention and student support practices.
- Act as a trusted designee for the VP of IMCC, when needed.
- Participate in and help guide DEI-focused committees and groups, offering leadership, advocacy, and strategic insights in service of an inclusive campus climate.
- Partner directly with students to co-create inclusive campus environments, helping them explore and engage with concepts of identity, equity, accessibility, and human-centered leadership.
- Advance programs and initiatives that highlight the intersection of multicultural social identities, enhance belonging, and align with the VP's strategic vision for institutional culture and climate.
- Advocate across campus committees and working groups for policies and programming that uplift diverse communities and enrich student life and engagement.
Functional and Supervisory Relationships:
Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Mission, Culture and Climate (IMCC), the Director of the IMCC will work in collaboration with professional staff across the college, including Student Affairs, faculty advisors in the I&D Center, and student success.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's preferred.

Three (3) years of relevant professional experience, which includes:
- Leading social justice education initiatives
- Engaging in intercultural communication across digital and in-person platforms
- Fostering inclusive campus communities through student engagement and advocacy
- Commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging within a diverse campus community.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency.
- Experience supervising students, graduate assistants, or professional staff.
- Background in advising multicultural student organizations and/or advocating within student government.
- Certification or formal training in Peer Education, Social Justice or Racial Justice Education, Coalition Building, or related areas.
- Experience in research, grant assessment, and reporting.
