Overview:
As a growing company, we are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist. This person will be responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse, including parts and equipment shipping/receiving, inventory organization, warranty returns, performing weekly cycle counts and processing will call orders. The Warehouse Specialist will work with the Parts and Warranty Manager to ensure a safe working environment and support supply chain management.
Responsibilities
Shipping/Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments.
- Count and confirm quantities of items against packing lists and purchase orders. Inspect for quality and condition, report any discrepancies or damages, and coordinate with suppliers or vendors as needed.
- Arrange outbound shipments with carriers/freight forwarders, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and customer delivery deadlines.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to internal team, customers and manufacturers.
- Process and file shipping documentation .
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Organize and optimize warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of products.
Order Processing
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate with team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
Warehouse Safety and Maintenance
- Responsible for general cleanliness/tidiness of warehouse.
- Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities, report any maintenance issues, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment to complete tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with HVAC or similar industry.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Willingness to learn current inventory management software (Sage 100).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person.
- Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated.
- Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing physical activities like bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Be able to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Forklift experience considered an assist (willing to train).
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.

Compensation:
Employees are eligible for merit-based pay raises based on performance and meeting certain benchmarks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
