Greenfield Family Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing practice! Our office is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, though some flexibility may be available for the right fit. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment adhering to guidelines.
- Take and develop x-rays, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental assisting with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in chairside assisting and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend is a bonus, but not required.
- Knowledge of general dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
