Shifts Available: 10a-6p/11a-7p, 30 hours per week

Activities Assistant Requirements:
- One year's leisure time programming experience, fitness/wellness background preferred.
- Valid NYS driver’s license class 1- 5, prefer class C, no moving violations within past three years.
Activities Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
- Implements and participates in daily resident activities, sometimes including evenings.
- Participates in community planning related to the interests of the residents and their needs.
- Meets with residents/families as necessary and in a private setting.
- Responsible for daily arrangement of rooms and furniture to accommodate planned programs.
- Performs administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submits such to the Creative Ars Director.
- Meets with residents on-on-one to offer support, answer questions, and solve issues.
- Assists in scheduling transportation for medical appointments, including helping Manor residents with making appointments.
- Involves the resident in planning Creative Arts Programs when possible.
- Drives company vehicles and assists transportation department when necessary.
- Assists with community-wide functions such as picnics and parties.
