*Job Overview*
We seek a dedicated RN Nursing Resident Care Manager to join our short-term rehabilitative community. The RN RCM Nurse will oversee the nursing staff, admissions and discharge process, audit care plans, and provide excellent customer service to families, residents, and the general public. The candidate must have an unencumbered Washington RN Nursing license, pass a background check, be CPR certified, have three years of experience in an LTC setting and one year of supervisory experience, and understand state and federal regulations and mandates as they apply to LTC communities.
*Duties*
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Provide guidance and support to nursing team members
- Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols and standards
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation skills for patient treatment
- Administer injections and perform phlebotomy when necessary
- Demonstrate proficiency in emergency medicine procedures
- Employ aseptic techniques in patient care
- Perform suturing as needed
- Monitor and ventilate patients when required
