The administrative assistant position at Greenfield High School supports the main high school office greeting parents, teachers, students, and visitors. The position also assists clerical work in the main office and skills and accuracy in all office work. Outgoing and friendly personality, organization and time management skills, computer skills, excellent English skills, and warmth and ease interacting with others are essential to the position. The successful candidate must be available to start work at 7:00 a.m.
DUTIES: - Coordinate data programs for school operations;- Coordinate daily attendance, absences, and substitutes;- Manage the phones, phone communications, mail and mail communications- Manage the staffing lists--keeping this updated at all times;- Manage email communications;- Coordinate files and track date sensitive requirements in a timely manner;- Manage the schedule of the building administrator(s), visitors, and the school schedule;- Assist the building administrator, as requested.SALARY: As per the Administrative Assistant negotiated agreementFully benefited positionHOURS: 12 Month school schedule, according to the master agreement
