What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute Grade 3 Teacher (november - February) position at Greenfield Public Schools?
This long-term substitute position starts November 19, 2024 and ends approximately February 17, 2025. DUTIES Conduct on-going assessments and skill screenings of reading, writing, and arithmetic of children, and monitor to assure academic progress during year; maintain a variety of classroom records; learn to use MAP by NWEA Assure children meet academic benchmarks; use data walls Attend faculty meetings; follow requests and assist with school planning Have lesson plans and a quarterly outline to follow; prepare instructional materials Work as a member of a focused, interdisciplinary team Interact cooperatively with parents, related agencies and other professionals Implement individual educational plans in the classroom Plan and implement a curriculum aligned with the school's goals, expectations. Routine and administrative duties : assessment and grading students, consultation and monitoring of individual IEP's, 504 plans, reports, consultation, and meetings for children with special needs Be attentive, flexible and supportive of children and their families through positive communication Perform other related duties, as required. SALARY : Per the salary schedule of the Greenfield Education Association Master Contract
