Physical Therapist Responsibilities (Adults & Pediatrics):
- Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations of both children’s and adults’ physical capabilities, including strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, focusing on improving movement, strength, and overall functional outcomes.
- Addressing developmental, injury-related, or age-related challenges, such as balance, walking, running, posture, and flexibility for both pediatric and adult populations.
- Assisting pediatric patients in achieving key milestones in motor development and mobility, while supporting adult patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence.
- Providing hands-on interventions to improve gross motor function, reduce the risk of injury, and enhance functional performance for both children and adults.
- Working with pediatric and adult patients to improve endurance, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical health.
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement a comprehensive therapy plan for pediatric patients, and engaging with adult patients and their families to support rehabilitation goals.
- Educating families and caregivers on how to assist in therapy at home and within school or community environments to support continuous progress.
- Participating in team meetings for pediatric patients (school-based or B-3) and adult patients (as part of multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams) to develop and review therapy goals and treatment outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of treatment sessions, progress, and patient outcomes to ensure optimal care delivery.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapist.
