Description
General Duties and Essential Functions:
- Responsible to develop caseload at assigned location(s) as budgeted using screening and referral development techniques to find functional decline that indicates medically necessary therapy service intervention.
- Ensures orders are obtained and evaluations are performed within 48 hours of referral. Coordinating with Scheduler as needed.
- Responsible to contribute positively to and assure the department meets the overall minimum productivity expectation of 85% per month.
- Directly supervises the therapists and assistants in their assigned communities.
- Responsible for ensuring orientation and onboarding process is completed for new hires.

- Responsible to prepare, report and participate in meetings with Director of Outpatient Services to review caseload generation, problem solve staffing challenges, share relevant facility issues, inform of productivity levels, and any roadblocks impeding optimal operational performance.
- Responsible for completing interviews with potential candidates as assigned by recruiting team.
- Responsible to ensure department is implementing the GRA ACE calendar as indicated to assist with caseload generation.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Responsible to develop strong facility relationships to enhance caseload generation activities and ensure our partner facilities and patients are having an exceptional experience.
- Serves as the GRA contact person for facility/family for all patients on caseload.
- Responsible to abide by the policies and procedures of GRAI as found in the Agency’s manuals.
- Attends facility requested meetings on behalf of therapy to serve as the GRA contact person.
- Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude to all facility staff, GRA staff and family members to reflect GRAI’s philosophy of creating an exceptional experience.
- Responsible for ensuring obtaining authorization/re-authorization for all payor types and following further required steps to ensure payment of therapy services provided through coordination with GRA
Billing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
