Rehab Director Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the physical therapy department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of residents' physical capabilities, including strength, mobility, and endurance.
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled physical therapists and support staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for residents, ensuring alignment with their specific rehabilitation goals.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team (nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists) to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to care.
- Address complex rehabilitation needs, including recovery from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses, with personalized care strategies.
- Manage departmental operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and leading educational initiatives for staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive culture within the rehab team, ensuring that staff feel appreciated and motivated to excel.
- Be an advocate for residents by ensuring they have access to the best tools, therapies, and treatments to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapist.
