Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and Director of Special Education, provides an educational program for preschool aged students with disabilities and assists in other school programs as assigned. Provides developmentally appropriate learning environment favorable to skill development and language acquisition. Establishes effective rapport with students and provides instruction to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for further participation in the total school program, in accordance with each pupil’s ability based on the California Preschool Learning Foundations and IEP goals. Establishes good relationships with parents and other staff members. Supervises instructional aides, student teachers, and parent volunteers when applicable. Education: Bachelor’s Degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements.
Salary : $60,222 - $118,561
