What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Teacher Single Subject- Music position at Greenfield Union School District - Kern County?
Under the supervision of the site administrator, provides an educational program for pupils in grades TK-8, or a combination thereof, and assists in other school programs as assigned. Creates a flexible music program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. Develop students’ understanding, appreciation of the art of music, including listening a wide range of musical genre, periods and styles. To identify, promote and develop each student’s talents in vocal and instrumental musical expression, in accordance with each pupil’s ability and to meet the California State Standards. Establishes good relationships with parents and other staff members. Supervises instructional aides, student teachers, and parent volunteers when applicable.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements.
Salary : $60,222 - $118,561
