Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services, the School Social Worker I will improve mental and emotional well-being in the educational setting by providing social services that address behavioral, social-emotional, environmental, and mental health care needs. The School Social Worker I will be responsible for assisting students with barriers to academic achievement by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional environmental issues that interfere with the educational process. The School Social worker will assist students, families, and school personnel by providing intervention and prevention services to enhance academic performance and an overall improvement of wellness and positive school climate.
Salary : $94,132 - $120,146
